PDI Technician

1. Vehicle Inspection:

• Exterior:Checking for any scratches, dents, or other damage to the bodywork, paint, and trim.
• Interior:Inspecting the seats, dashboard, carpets, door panels, and other interior components for any damage or defects.
• Mechanical:Verifying the engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, and other mechanical systems are functioning correctly.
• Electrical:Testing the headlights, taillights, indicators, wipers, horn, infotainment system, and other electrical components.
• Fluid Levels:Ensuring that all fluid levels (engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, etc.) are at the correct levels.
• Accessories:Confirming the presence and functionality of all accessories like spare tire, jack, tools, and any optional features.

2. Ensuring Quality Standards:

• The PDI Executive ensures the vehicle meets the manufacturer's quality standards and specifications.
• They identify and document any defects or issues that need to be addressed before delivery.
• They coordinate with the service or workshop team to rectify any problems found during the inspection.

3. Documentation and Reporting:

• The PDI Executive maintains detailed records of the inspection, including any issues found and rectified.
• They prepare reports and communicate the inspection results to the relevant departments or personnel.

4. Test Drive:

• A test drive is often part of the PDI process to assess the vehicle's performance and identify any potential issues that may not be apparent during a visual inspection.
• The PDI Executive may conduct the test drive or oversee it, ensuring that the vehicle is operating smoothly and safely.

In essence, the PDI Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring that the customer receives a vehicle that is in perfect condition and ready for use, minimizing the chances of any issues after delivery.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
