PCB Design Engineer

Role Overview: As a Layout Engineer at Netweb Technologies, you will be responsible for utilizing ECAD tools like Allegro/Xpedition software to execute Layout Engineering. Your role will involve analyzing technical requirements and customer input to develop PCB layouts, with a focus on designing layouts for motherboards using Intel, AMD, NXP, TI processors. You will collaborate with PCB manufacturers and assembly houses to ensure manufacturing rules are followed, and you will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize ECAD tools, such as Allegro/Xpedition software, to execute Layout Engineering. - Analyze technical requirements and customer input to develop PCB layouts. - Design layouts for motherboards using Intel, AMD, NXP, TI processors. - Implement design guidelines from PDG and relevant IPC design standards. - Proficient in PCB layout placement for analog, digital, power, and high-speed circuitry. - Route high-speed nets and utilize blind & buried vias. - Interpret and understand schematics independently. - Collaborate with PCB manufacturers and assembly houses to comprehend manufacturing rules. - Create documentation related to PCB Guidelines, Processes, and Checklists. - Understand thermal impact for design placement. - Conduct DFM, DFA, DFS, and DFT analysis. - Generate and review Gerber and ODB++ files. Qualifications Required: - Experience with high pin count, fine pitch parts, QFN modules, BGAs, connectors, power modules, heatsinks/clips, and SFF-TA-XXX specifications and connectors. - Knowledgeable about PCB layout guidelines and standards, with a background in PCB layout design highly desirable. - Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering. - Demonstrates a timely response, high accuracy, precision, and great attention to detail. - Self-motivated team player, adaptable to varying workloads and task requirements.
