As a Guidewire developer at PwC, you will specialise in developing and customising applications using the Guidewire platform. As you navigate through the Firm, you build a brand for yourself, opening doors to more opportunities. **Key Responsibilities**: - REST API development - Java / Spring boot - AWS Tech (Lambda, EKS, K8) - Github - Datadog/Splunk - Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe); experience with large multi-team programs - GenAI in the SDLC: apply to large/diverse datasets; integrate into development lifecycle **Qualifications Required**: - Sync/Async APIs, event-driven, serverless, microservices, MVC - Secure, scalable, resilient API development (REST, GraphQL) - Platform integration with Node.js and Spring Boot - Programming: Java (expert), TypeScript (expert) - Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure - Container/orchestration: Kubernetes and/or Cloud Foundry - DevOps & CI/CD practices; tooling with GitHub, Codacy, Jira, Confluence - Security engineering: threat modeling, authN/authZ, STRIDE - Observability: Datadog, Splunk In addition, having knowledge or experience in the following areas would set you apart: - GenAI in the SDLC: apply to large/diverse datasets; integrate into development lifecycle - Insurance / Workers Compensation / Claims domain knowledge - AWS Solutions Architect certification - Guidewire Insurance Suite experience - Experience in compliance-heavy industries - Advanced DB tuning (DynamoDB, AWS RDS),
