PC Docs and Forms Developer

As a skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Docs and Forms Developer, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining document templates and forms within Guidewire PolicyCenter. You will be responsible for implementing document generation using Guidewire's Document Assistant and potentially third-party tools such as SmartCOMM, GhostDraft, or DocuSign. Your tasks will include configuring document metadata, rules, triggers, and event-based document generation. Collaboration with business analysts to understand form and document requirements will be crucial, along with integrating document solutions with PolicyCenter workflows. Moreover, you will work closely with QA and testing teams to ensure the quality delivery of projects and support production document-related issues by performing defect triage. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain document templates and forms within Guidewire PolicyCenter. - Implement document generation using Guidewire's Document Assistant and third-party tools (SmartCOMM, GhostDraft, DocuSign, etc. if applicable). - Configure document metadata, rules, triggers, and event-based document generation. - Collaborate with business analysts to understand form and document requirements. - Integrate document solutions with PolicyCenter workflows. - Work closely with QA and testing teams to ensure quality delivery. - Perform defect triage and support production document-related issues. Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of experience working with Guidewire PolicyCenter, specifically on Docs & Forms. - Strong knowledge of Guidewire document generation framework. - Experience with document composition tools like SmartCOMM, GhostDraft, or similar. - Proficiency in GOSU, Java, and XML. - Familiarity with Guidewire data model, PCF (Page Configuration Files), and business rules. - Hands-on experience integrating with print/email services and document repositories. In addition to the technical skills required for this role, it is desirable to have experience with Guidewire Cloud-based implementations, familiarity with version control systems like Git, Jenkins, or CI/CD pipelines, and knowledge of PolicyCenter product configurations.
