Job Description

The role of a Professional Services Partner at the British Council involves being an integral part of the organization's transformation journey, particularly in the People function. Your primary responsibility is to deliver people services to business leaders, line managers, and employees in a manner that adds value, ensures cost-effectiveness, and provides excellent service to the wider organization and its employees. You will play a crucial role in aligning operational and tactical components of HR operations with People function services to achieve seamless integration. This will contribute to enhancing the overall efficiency of the HR organization and improving service delivery standards. Key responsibilities include contributing to strategy and planning initiatives, demonstrating leadership and effective management skills, managing relationships with stakeholders, driving service improvements, ensuring governance and reporting compliance, and leveraging professional services expertise. To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information securely. A collaborative approach to teamwork, strong interpersonal skills for building internal and external relationships, and a track record of providing expert advice on communications and meetings are essential requirements. Desirable qualifications include prior experience with SAP Success Factors and a background in Human Resource operations.
