Role Description Payroll Executive

Location:

Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Processing

  • Collect and verify attendance, overtime (OT), leaves, and shift data.
  • Process monthly payroll for employees accurately and on time.
  • Ensure correct calculation of salaries, bonuses, arrears, and deductions.

2. Statutory Compliance

  • Manage PF, ESIC, PT, LWF and TDS-related calculations.
  • Generate and file monthly statutory returns.
  • Ensure payroll practices comply with labour laws and company policies.

3. Employee Data Management

  • Maintain employee records in HRMS/Payroll systems.
  • Update new joiner, exit, and transfer data in the system.
  • Manage changes in bank details, addresses, and employee information.

4. Payroll Audits & Reporting

  • Prepare payroll reports for management review.
  • Conduct internal payroll audits to check errors and discrepancies.
  • Maintain salary registers and statutory documents.

5. Reimbursements & Settlement

  • Process claims such as travel, medical, LTA, and reimbursements.
  • Handle Full & Final (F&F) settlements for exiting employees.
  • Calculate leave encashment, gratuity, notice period recovery, etc.

6. Attendance & Leave Management

  • Verify attendance sheets, biometric reports, and leave requests.
  • Coordinate with departments for missing attendance corrections.
  • Maintain leave balances and annual leave data.

7. Employee Query Handling

  • Address employee questions related to salary, payslips, taxes, and deductions.
  • Provide support during audits and inspections.

8. Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and Admin to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Coordinate with banks for salary transfers.
