Payment Posting Fresher

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated fresher to join our Payment Posting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately posting payments received from insurance companies and patients into the billing system, ensuring timely and precise reconciliation of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post payments (EOBs, EFTs, checks, and patient payments) into the billing system.
• Match payments with corresponding claims and invoices.
• Identify and report payment discrepancies or denials.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Assist in reconciling daily deposits and reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Basic understanding of medical billing or accounting principles (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• Internship or project experience in healthcare or finance domain.
• Familiarity with EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and insurance terminology.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
