Patient Counsellor-Eye Surgery

• Patient education and counselling - Explain eye conditions (such as cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors, retina disorders, etc.) and treatment options to patients and their families.
• Counsel patients regarding surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and possible complications in an empathetic and understandable manner.
• Clarify doubts regarding surgery, recovery, and follow-up schedules.
• Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, operation theatre, and nursing staff for surgery scheduling.
• Ensure all pre-surgery investigations, consent forms, and patient instructions are completed.
• Maintain accurate surgery registers and patient counselling records.
• Explain surgery cost details, available packages, and insurance coverage options.
• Support patients in completing insurance or reimbursement-related documentation.
• Liaise with billing and finance teams to ensure transparency in payments.
• Educate patients about pre-operative preparations and post-operative care instructions.
• Follow up with patients after surgery to ensure adherence to medication and follow-up visits.
• Handle patient feedback and concerns promptly and effectively.
• Promote hospital services and build trust among patients and attendants.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
