Patient Care Taker

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for reporting 10 minutes before the OPD starts to ensure the OPD checklist is followed meticulously. Your role will involve welcoming patients with a warm smile and introducing yourself to them upon arrival. It is crucial to record AR/NCT accurately for each patient that you assist. You will be tasked with escorting patients to the waiting area or OPD chamber and coordinating with doctors and optometrists to ensure a seamless patient flow. When necessary, you will need to check the Identification Band and administer appropriate dilating eye drops for dilation procedures. In the event of any delays or unavailability of medical staff, you are expected to escalate the issue to the floor manager or center manager promptly for resolution. Your duties will include assisting patients and doctors as needed, especially providing special care to vulnerable patients and ensuring prompt billing for advised procedures. During emergencies, you must act swiftly by escorting patients for necessary procedures and handling billing processes efficiently. Additionally, you will guide patients to pharmacy, optical, or counseling services as required and ensure they receive future appointments before leaving. It is vital to encourage patients to fill feedback forms and address any grievances promptly by informing the OPD manager. Your responsibilities also include reporting any accidental incidents and following the hospital's codes policy diligently.
