The Pathology Lab & Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pathology laboratory, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and driving business growth through effective marketing strategies. This dual role requires both technical knowledge of lab operations and marketing expertise to increase patient inflow, doctor referrals, and brand awareness.
Supervise daily pathology lab operations, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of test results.
Coordinate with pathologists, technicians, and collection staff for smooth workflow.
Maintain quality control, equipment calibration, and adherence to NABL/ISO or relevant standards.
Ensure proper documentation, reporting systems, and compliance with statutory regulations.
Manage inventory of reagents, consumables, and equipment maintenance schedules.
Implement cost control measures without compromising on quality.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote lab services (B2C and B2B).
Build and maintain relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, and corporate clients for referrals.
Plan health camps, tie-ups, and promotional events to enhance visibility.
Oversee digital marketing initiatives (social media, Google Ads, SEO, website).
Design promotional materials, brochures, and campaigns to attract new patients.
Monitor competition and market trends to identify new opportunities.
Train and supervise lab and marketing staff for efficiency and professionalism.
Handle patient queries, complaints, and ensure high standards of customer service.
Motivate team members to achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
Ensure ethical practices in both lab reporting and marketing activities.
Graduate/Postgraduate in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Lab Technology (MLT), or related field.
MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Healthcare Management (preferred).
5 years in pathology lab management or healthcare marketing.
Experience in diagnostic industry preferred.
Strong knowledge of pathology lab processes and quality standards.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing and healthcare CRM tools Preferred.
Leadership and team management ability.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving approach.
Lab operational efficiency & accuracy in reporting.
Increase in patient footfall and test volumes.
