As a member of the Risk Management Services (RMS) team at EY, you will play a crucial role in addressing internal risks associated with new clients and ongoing audit/non-audit engagements. The RMS team, established in 2007 and now comprising over 1000 members, serves as a Center of Excellence for standardized risk management activities conducted from Global Delivery Services locations. Your primary focus will be on the Conflicts sub-function within RMS, where you will be responsible for identifying and managing potential conflicts of interest related to new or existing engagements. This involves assessing internal relationships within EY and implementing safeguards to mitigate conflict risks to an acceptable level, while also ensuring compliance with independence, ethical, and legal standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop a deep understanding of EY's global and local conflict policies and apply them in practical scenarios. - Conduct initial reviews of conflict check submissions from client-serving teams. - Analyze and identify all relevant entities involved in engagements. - Identify and evaluate potential conflicts. - Share best practices and assist seniors in creating training materials. - Ensure timely escalation of critical issues. - Formulate appropriate conflict safeguards for client-serving teams to uphold ethical obligations. - Familiarize yourself with EY's organizational structure, business strategies, and service lines. - Meet individual and team targets while delivering quality outcomes. Qualifications Required: - Postgraduate degree in any discipline. - Preferably hold an International Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management or equivalent. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. - Capacity to make informed decisions and multitask effectively. - Uphold confidentiality of all information. - Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. - Previous experience in a Compliance environment is advantageous but not mandatory. - Proficiency in MS Office tools.
