We are hiring a Part-time consultant with one of our projects in Newtglobal.

Desired Profiles:

Installation & Configuration:

• Install and configure OFSAA 4.5 components (OFSAAI, Metadata Manager, Data Foundation, ALM, FTP, etc.) in on-prem setups.
• Configure WebLogic, OBIEE/Oracle Analytics Server, and database connectivity layers.

Environment Management:

• Maintain and support DEV, UAT, and PROD environments.
• Manage user access, environment refreshes, patching, and performance tuning.

Cloud Migration:

• Plan and execute migration of OFSAA 4.5 from on-prem to Azure (or equivalent non-Oracle cloud).
• Design and implement lift-and-shift or re-platforming approaches using Azure VMs, networking, and storage.
• Integrate with Azure services like Azure SQL Database, Azure Files/Blob, and Azure AD if applicable.

Upgrades & Patching:

• Perform version upgrades (e.g., 4.5 8.x or 8.x 8.1.x).
• Apply OFSAA patches and hotfixes; validate post-upgrade functionality.

• Automation & Monitoring:

• Develop scripts for deployment, backup, and monitoring.
• Implement proactive health checks and alerts.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with DBA, infrastructure, and business analytics teams.
• Document installation and migration procedures thoroughly.
