As a Jr. Engineer - Backend, you will play a crucial role in Ball's Production Team by ensuring the safe and high-quality production of products in the Sprays and Necker area. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will actively contribute to achieving area Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through teamwork, participation in improvement activities, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and 5S initiatives. Your responsibilities will include conducting periodic cleaning and inspection of Spray machines, operating Necker machines efficiently, ensuring safety checks at the beginning of each shift, and maintaining quality specifications for cans produced in Sprays and Necker. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of various equipment in the area, conducting quality checks, and addressing any deviations promptly. Additionally, you will play a key role in line clearance after label changes, maintaining housekeeping standards, addressing spoilage concerns, and performing corrective maintenance activities during downtime. Your commitment to safety practices, including handling flammable liquids and hazardous wastes, will be essential in ensuring a safe working environment. To excel in this role, you should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in operation and maintenance in a medium-scale FMCG plant. Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, along with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, will be required. You should also have a good understanding of Health and Safety practices, computer literacy for report generation, and the flexibility to work shifts and extended hours when necessary. In addition to English proficiency, knowledge of local languages would be beneficial to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members. Your willingness to learn and adapt, along with your technical skills and competencies, will be instrumental in contributing to the success of the Production Team at Ball.,
