The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering with at least 4-6 years of experience. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and design new products, applying standard engineering principles and design calculations to complete assignments. You will work on major projects as part of a team or independently on smaller projects, making correct adaptations or modifications as necessary. You will lead new product introduction activities at HUSCO, Pune, liaising with other departments to ensure timely launch of new products. Understanding the fit, form, and function of products and components is essential, as well as maintaining drawings, models, calculations, specifications, bills of materials, and other documents for effective communication internally and externally. Utilizing engineering tools such as Creo 4.0 or higher, ANSYS Fluent, CFX, Maxwell, Creo Simulate, and AMESim will be crucial for predicting design deficiencies and sensitivities for optimization. Monitoring product performance, analyzing data, and recommending changes for improvement will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be required to solve problems related to projects or operations, provide technical assistance, and conduct hands-on activities such as building, testing, and repairing products and equipment. Experience in new product development, utilizing engineering principles, and familiarity with Creo 4.0 or higher and Windchill 12.0 are preferred. Knowledge of Hydraulic Components, Six Sigma Principles, DFSS, DFM&A, DFMEA/PFMEA, and awareness of ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 Standards will be advantageous. A willingness to travel up to 20% may be required for this role.
