Job Description

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

Surgical Expertise
:

Perform surgeries to treat conditions such as birth defects (e.g., cleft lip/palate), tumors, injuries, and gastrointestinal or urinary problems in children.

Emergency Care
:

Provide surgical care for pediatric emergencies like appendicitis, trauma, or bowel obstructions.

Pre- and Post-Surgery Care
:

Assess children before surgery, perform necessary procedures, and manage their recovery after surgery, ensuring minimal complications.

Minimally Invasive Surgery
:

Use modern techniques like laparoscopy (keyhole surgery) for less invasive procedures with quicker recovery times.

Collaboration
:

Work closely with pediatricians, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care for young patients.

Communication
:

Explain the surgical process, risks, and recovery to parents in a clear, compassionate way.

Patient Support
:

Provide emotional support and guidance to families dealing with their child's surgery and recovery.

Education and Research
