Packaging Engineering Executive

The role you are applying for will focus on Projects related to Packaging machinery and Automation for Marico Domestic and IBG business. You should have experience in packaging machinery related activities in an FMCG company or packaging machinery manufacturer. A Graduation/ Post Graduation in Mechanical / Packaging Engineering along with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience is required. While a Packaging degree from IIP or SIES is preferred, it is not compulsory. You should possess an understanding and experience of working with Packaging Machines and related Automations. Knowledge of filling, Capping, labeling, Robotics, EOL solutions, Process improvements, plant operations, IOT, and industry 4.0 is essential. Your primary competencies should include Machine design, Automation, and Project management. Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP is necessary. Your responsibilities will include initiating and executing Packaging machinery projects related to Greenfield/Brownfield, Automation, productivity improvement, and cost-saving projects. You will need to develop strategies to enhance efficiency and quality from PKG assets, undertake Upgrade programs, propose debottlenecking projects, and set up packaging equipment for new products. Collaboration with Plant teams for capex procurement related to packaging machines, standardization across plants, and adherence to systems and policies are crucial. You will report to the Packaging Engineering Manager and interact with Plant teams across manufacturing units, Head Office teams in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, Packaging team in Technology (R&D), and Quality. Generating MIS and various reports as required for the division is also part of the role.,
