Job Title: Packaging Development Executive

• Develop and execute packaging strategies:

  This includes creating and implementing plans for packaging materials, design, and processes.

• Manage packaging materials:

  This involves sourcing, procuring, and maintaining inventory levels of packaging materials, ensuring they are available when needed.

• Coordinate with internal teams:

  Collaborating with product development, manufacturing, quality control, and shipping departments to ensure smooth operations.

• Oversee packaging design:

  Managing the packaging design process, including artwork creation and proofing, to ensure it meets brand and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain quality and safety standards:

  Ensuring all packaging processes comply with quality and safety regulations, standards & requirements of Buyer.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:

  Bachelors degree in Packaging Science, Engineering, PG Diploma in Packaging Technology, or a related field.

• Experience:

  Minimum 3-4 years of experience in packaging development, preferably within the food industry (sweets, confectionery, or similar).

Skills:

• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and regulations.
• Experience with inventory management and dispatch processes.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Key Requirements:

• Lead packaging development projects from concept to commercialization.

• Collaborate with product development, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure packaging meets product and market requirements.

• Evaluate and select materials, suppliers, and technologies for packaging solutions.

• Ensure packaging designs comply with regulatory requirements and sustainability goals.

• Conduct packaging tests to ensure durability, functionality, and safety.

• Optimize packaging processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

• Maintain detailed documentation of packaging specifications and project progress.

• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in packaging development.
