Packaging Designer- Corrugated & Wooden Packaging

Job Title:Packaging Designer Corrugated & Wooden Packaging

• Design and develop

  structural and graphic packaging

  using corrugated board and wood.
• Select appropriate

  packaging materials

  based on product requirements, cost, and sustainability.
• Create

  prototypes and mock-ups

  for testing and client presentations.
• Conduct

  packaging performance testing

  (drop, vibration, compression, etc.) and ensure compliance with

  ISTA standards

  .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including

  product development, procurement, and logistics

  .
• Optimize packaging for

  cost-efficiency, manufacturability, and environmental impact

  .
• Stay updated on

  packaging technologies

  , innovations, and industry trends.
• Document and maintain

  packaging specifications, BOMs, and test reports

  .

• 2-5 years

  of hands-on experience in

  corrugated and wooden packaging design

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  packaging materials

  , including paperboard grades, wood types, adhesives, and coatings.
• Proficiency in

  CAD software

  (Artios CAD, SolidWorks), Adobe Illustrator, and other design tools.
• Familiarity with

  packaging testing protocols

  and lab equipment.
• Understanding of

  packaging technology

  , including converting processes, printing techniques, and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

• Bachelors degree in

  Packaging Technology, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering

  , or related field.
• Certification or diploma from

  Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP)

  or equivalent.
• Experience working with

  global packaging standards and sustainability goals
