Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for an Overseas Counselor. The responsibilities include providing expert guidance to prospective students through personalized counseling sessions, helping them identify suitable courses and universities that align with their aspirations. The role also involves assisting with university applications, ensuring timely and accurate documentation, supporting students through the visa application process, and preparing them for the transition to living abroad. The counselor will also stay updated on the latest global education trends and requirements to provide accurate and reliable advice to students.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and their families.
• Proficiency in counseling, advising, and understanding student needs to guide them in making informed educational choices.
• Organizational and documentation skills, including handling university and visa application processes accurately and efficiently.
• A thorough understanding of overseas educational systems, admission requirements, scholarships, and visa procedures.
• Strong research and problem-solving skills to stay updated on global education trends and explore opportunities for students.
• Customer service orientation and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is preferred; experience in overseas educational consultancy is an advantage.
