Job Title: Overseas Education Counsellor Location: Mumbai Salary: ₹70,000+ per month Experience: 2–5 years (flexible depending on profile) Education: Graduate (Bachelor's degree minimum; preference for degrees in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related fields) Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Overseas Education Counsellor to guide and support students aspiring to study abroad. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the global education landscape (especially in countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe), excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals. Key Responsibilities: Counsel students regarding overseas education options including universities, programs, eligibility, and application processes. Assist in the selection of appropriate courses and institutions based on the student’s interests, academic background, and financial capability. Provide end-to-end support for admissions — including documentation, SOP guidance, and visa counseling. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of admission policies, procedures, and changes in visa regulations of various countries. Coordinate with partner institutions, universities, and internal application teams. Conduct follow-ups with students for applications, admissions, and conversions. Attend education fairs, seminars, and promotional events as required. Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and application progress. Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in overseas education counseling. Strong knowledge of international universities and admissions processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Target-oriented and ability to work under pressure. Familiarity with CRM software or student management tools is a plus. Fluency in English; knowledge of other regional languages is an asset.
