Job Description

Position Name: Outsourcing Engineer
Qualification: Diploma/ B. Tech (Mechanical)
Experience: 4-10 Years
Notice Period: Immediate to 1 Month
Skills: Knowledge on welding and heat treatments, Knowledge about International Welding Standards, Knowledge about Stress relieving methods.
Good to have: Machine Tool Background, knowledge about CNC Machines.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
Good Communication skills, okay to travel to Germany

Duties:

Use SAP to create, track and manage the purchase orders;
Negotiate and coordinate delivery with suppliers according to the issued purchase order;
Coordinate the communication between the internal colleagues and suppliers;
Carrying out the claim process by using SAP, including the creation of the necessary documentation;
Supplier management;
Clarifying the relevant technical requirements and the necessary product knowledge;
Supplier market research and development of a commodity oriented purchasing strategy;
Handling of contracts, basic agreements;

Requirements:

Degree in mechanical engineering (casting, welding and raw material steel orientation),

Industrial engineering or business management;

Experience in the designing of wooden tool, or in the production of complex welded parts;
Very good skills with calculation and value analysis
