The Eye Foundation is renowned as one of the best eye specialty hospitals in major cities across south India, with nearly three decades of excellence in treating millions of patients. Our multi-specialty eye hospitals are located in Coimbatore, Bangalore, Tirupur, Nilgiris, and nearby areas. We are pioneers in adopting cutting-edge technology, being among the first in the country to introduce laser eye surgery in both laser refractive and laser cataract surgery, significantly enhancing the precision of cataract operations.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an OT Technician located in Tiruchirappalli. The OT Technician will be responsible for preparing the operation theater, assisting with surgical procedures, maintaining sterile conditions, and ensuring the availability of surgical supplies and equipment. The technician will also be responsible for patient preparation before and after surgery, and for maintaining accurate records and reports related to the surgical procedures.

Qualifications

Knowledge and hands-on experience in Operation Theater procedures and protocols
Skills in sterilization techniques and infection control
Ability to assist surgeons during procedures with precision and efficiency
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Diploma or Certification in Operation Theater Technology or related field
At least 2 years of relevant experience
Experience in Ophthalmology is a plus
