OT (Operation Theater) Manager

As an Operation Theatre (OT) Manager at Almas Hospital - Kottakkal, your role is crucial in overseeing the daily operations of the Operation Theatre complex. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing and coordinating all activities within the Operation Theatre - Supervising OT nurses, technicians, and support staff - Ensuring optimal OT scheduling and minimal turnaround time - Monitoring compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols - Managing inventory of surgical instruments, equipment, and consumables - Maintaining records of procedures, equipment maintenance, and staff duties - Collaborating with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing leadership - Ensuring training, orientation, and performance evaluations of OT staff - Implementing quality assurance programs and safety checks - Handling emergencies, staffing challenges, and conflict resolution Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent; additional training in OT Management preferred - Valid RN license (or local equivalent) - Minimum 5 years of experience in perioperative nursing with at least 2 years in a leadership role - Strong knowledge of OT procedures, instruments, and safety protocols - Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills - Certification in OT nursing or healthcare management is a plus Additionally, Almas Hospital - Kottakkal offers competitive salary with leadership allowance, continuing education, and leadership development support.
