OT Manager

We have an urgent requirement for a Technician - General OT (Scrub Side) at Shalby Hospital, Mohali. Your responsibilities will include informing all nursing and technician staff about the booked surgery, conducting pre-operation checks of the OT including medical equipment, instruments, biomedical, and surgical sets. In case of any machinery defects, you will be required to promptly inform the biomedical department. Upon completion of induction, you will be responsible for sterilizing the patient using betadine, maintaining the emergency drug box/trolley, and ensuring strict sterility supervision. You will also be in charge of cleaning the operative site of the patient with antibacterial solutions, draping the patient with sheets to keep the site of operation open, and washing equipment/instruments with solutions before sending them to CSSD for the sterilization process. Additionally, you will need to send linen for laundry and prepare the OT for the next surgery as well as for any emergency procedures. This is a full-time position located at Shalby Hospital, Mohali, Phase IX, Sector-63, S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali, Punjab, India.
