Qualification: GNM/ B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in Operation Theatre coordination or supervisory role
Salary: ₹7 to ₹8 Lakhs Annually

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Surgeons and Anaesthetists to plan and execute daily OT schedules efficiently.
• Take regular follow-ups with the TPA department to ensure timely approvals, documentation, and patient clearance.
• Liaise with implant providers to ensure availability of required implants and consumables for surgeries.
• Manage OT staff scheduling, duty allocation, training, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure strict adherence to sterilization protocols and infection control standards.
• Supervise pre-operative and post-operative procedures for patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor and maintain OT inventory, including surgical instruments, consumables, medicines, and implants.
• Ensure equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance or repair with biomedical teams.
• Maintain OT documentation including surgery reports, instrument tracking, and incident reporting.
• Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during critical situations by ensuring timely availability of support services.
• Conduct regular audits of OT practices, safety standards, and patient care procedures.
• Coordinate with nursing administration, ICU, CSSD, and other departments for seamless workflow.
• Review SOPs, update OT guidelines, and conduct training on new protocols or equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory norms.
• Ensure patient satisfaction by maintaining professionalism, teamwork, and ethical practice.
