OSS Integration Consultant - 5G Network Protocols

Role : SMO-OSS Integration Consultant (5G Networks) Working mode : Regular Notice Period : Immediate - 15 Days Key Responsibilities : SMO-OSS Integration : - Design and implement integration workflows between the SMO platform and OSS systems to manage 5G network resources and operations. - Configure OSS-SMO interfaces for tasks such as fault management, performance monitoring, and lifecycle management. - Ensure proper data exchange between SMO and OSS for service orchestration, provisioning, and assurance. Network Orchestration and Automation: - Enable automated service provisioning and lifecycle management using SMO. - Develop workflows and processes for end-to-end network orchestration, including MEC, network slicing, and hybrid cloud integration. Testing and Validation: - Perform end-to-end testing of SMO-OSS integration in both lab and production environments. - Validate integration of specific use cases, including fault detection, service assurance, and anomaly detection. Collaboration and Support : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including OSS developers, cloud engineers, and AI/ML experts, to define integration requirements. - Work with vendors and third-party providers to ensure compatibility and system performance. Required Skills and Experience : 1. Technical Expertise : - Strong knowledge of SMO platforms and their integration with OSS systems. - Familiarity with OSS functions such as inventory management, fault management, and performance monitoring. - Hands-on experience with O-RAN interfaces such as A1, E2, and O1. 1. Protocols and Standards : 1. In-depth knowledge of 5G standards, including 3GPP, O-RAN, and TM Forum. 2. Familiarity with protocols like HTTP/REST APIs, NETCONF, and YANG. 2. Programming and Scripting : 1. Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar for scripting and automation. 2. Experience with AI/ML frameworks and their application in network optimization. 3. Tools and Platforms : 1. Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Kubernetes, Helm, and Ansible for monitoring and deployment. 2. Familiarity with cloud-native deployments (e.g., OpenShift, AWS, Azure). 4. Problem-Solving : 1. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for integration and configuration issuess.
