Job Description

OSM Developer

Must-Have Skills

  • Hands-on experience with OSM concepts

    :
  • Service Order Management (SOM) and Technical Order Management (TOM)

    : Deep understanding and practical experience in managing the lifecycle of customer service orders and their corresponding technical fulfillment processes within OSM.
  • Orchestration

    : Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing complex service orchestration flows within OSM to automate service delivery.
  • In-flight Order Change Management, Revisions

    : Experience handling modifications and updates to orders that are already in progress, including managing revisions and cancellations within OSM.
  • XQuery Plugin Development

    : Demonstrated ability to develop custom plugins using XQuery for extending OSM functionalities and integrating with external systems.

Good to Have Skills

  • Sound knowledge of Telecom Order Management and Provisioning applications and requirements

    : Comprehensive understanding of the specific processes and technical needs involved in order management and service provisioning within the telecommunications industry.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Telecom business services

    : Knowledge of the various services offered by telecommunications providers to enterprise clients (e.g., VPN, dedicated internet, managed services).

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Should have

    implemented/customized OSM

    solutions, bringing significant

    OSM implementation experience

  • Possess hands-on experience in

    OSM Automation

    using technologies such as

    XSLT, XQuery, Java, and DB Plugin development

  • Demonstrate strong hands-on experience in areas of

    Java/J2EE

    OSM based XML APIs and Web Services

    WebLogic

    server environments.
  • Possess sound knowledge of

    Telecom Order Management and Provisioning applications and requirements

    , ensuring solutions align with industry best practices.
  • Exhibit familiarity with

    Enterprise Telecom business services

    , contributing to the development of tailored solutions for our clients.
