ORMB Techno-Functional Technical Analyst

As a member of the Support organization at Oracle, your primary focus is to provide post-sales support and solutions to Oracle's customer base while advocating for customer needs. You will be responsible for resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries through phone and electronic channels, as well as addressing technical questions related to the use of and troubleshooting for Oracle's Electronic Support Services. As a key point of contact for customers, you will play a vital role in fostering customer relationships with Support and offering guidance to internal Oracle employees on various customer situations and escalated issues. The ideal candidate for this role should be a techno-functional individual with real-time hands-on experience in functional/product and/or technical aspects, including working with L3 level support or possessing equivalent knowledge. Some key qualifications we are looking for include: - Strong knowledge of ORMB - Banking / Insurance business processes and concepts. - Ability to connect product functionality to business processes and provide implementation advice to customers on leveraging ORMB & OUAF Framework for diverse business scenarios. - Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Java / J2EE, in addition to the following skills: - ORMB component development (Algorithms, Batches, business services, Scripting) in OUAF framework. - Development in ORMB -UI using Zones, Portals, and JavaScript. - Understanding ORMB technical designs including entity and component flow designs. - Unit testing through JUnit script writing. - Developing interfaces using ORMB file framework / Batches / Services layer with consideration for performance impact. - Collaborating with Customer technical teams for Interface verification testing and data quality issue resolution. - Data Migration batches and component development. - Query writing for reporting purposes. - Bug fixing in ORMB identified during UAT or internal testing with Root Cause Analysis. - Supporting QA team during the testing phase. - Participating in technical design discussions. - Collaborating with the product team and customer technical team. - Preference for exposure to Groovy Scripting and Python skills.
