Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM)

With a minimum of 6+ years of experience in Oracle UIM within telecommunications, broadband, or cloud service provider environments, you will play a key role as the centralized source of truth for network, service, and resource inventory data. This will enable efficient service design, provisioning, and management. Your responsibilities will include managing end-to-end inventory, encompassing physical resources such as routers, switches, and cables, logical resources like IP addresses, VLANs, and circuits, and service inventory covering both customer-facing and resource-facing services. You will handle converged services spanning fixed, mobile, IP, and cloud networks on a unified platform. In this role, you will develop and customize UIM Cartridges to model new products, services, and resources without modifying the core system. Additionally, you will integrate UIM with OSS/BSS systems, including Oracle Order and Service Management (OSM) for provisioning, CRM, billing, and network management platforms. You will oversee the lifecycle management of resources from design to retirement, managing network upgrades, expansions, and migrations. Working with SOAP and REST-based Open APIs will be part of your responsibilities to ensure seamless integration with external applications. Your focus will be on accuracy, eliminating data silos, and maintaining system consistency across all network and service records.
