Job Description

Primary Skills: Oracle UIM (Unified Inventory Management): Strong hands-on experience including cartridge development and deployment Java & WebLogic Server: Proficient in developing UIM components and deploying them in WebLogic environments UIM Cartridge Development: Expertise in building custom cartridges for inventory and service modeling Entity Modeling & Web Services: Skilled in entity modeling and web service creation within UIM Scripting & Querying: Experience with SQL , XML , XPATH , XQUERY , and DROOLS rule engine Utilities/Tools: Comfortable with using PuTTY , WinSCP , and Unix/Linux environments Key Responsibilities: Analyze and understand business and technical requirements to design UIM-based inventory solutions Develop, configure, and deploy UIM cartridges with proper modeling of entities (Services, Devices, Networks, etc.) Design and implement UIM web services to expose inventory data Collaborate with system architects, developers, and QA teams for integration and end-to-end delivery Troubleshoot and resolve UIM-related issues, optimize cartridge performance Participate in documentation, code reviews, and deployment planning Contribute to solution design for enhancements and new functionality in telecom OSS/BSS landscapes Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Experience with Oracle Communications Suite (OSS/BSS stack) Understanding of network inventory management in Telecom domain Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery environments
