Oracle JD Edwards CNC Administrator

Role & responsibilities System Administration : Performing day-to-day system administration tasks, including security setup, user management, and environment management. Package Builds and Deployments : Planning, building, and deploying software packages across environments. Security Administration: Implementing and maintaining security policies, Performance Tuning and Monitoring: Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing tuning measures. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Diagnosing and resolving JDE system issues, including application, UBE and database issues. Software Updates: Applying JDE software updates ESUs and ASUs. Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation related to JDE configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. End User Support : Providing technical support to JDE users on system-related issues. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 6 Years experience as a Oracle JDEdwards CNC Administrator Good understanding of Oracle JDEdwards System Architecture - Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in the following areas: Environment /Pathcode OMW /OMC Business Services Server (BSSV) Application Interface Server (AIS): UBEs / Batch Processing: Database Oracle /SQL/DB2 Package Management ESU/ASU Application Webserver : WebLogic Server (WLS) Operating System: OEL (Oracle Enterprise Linux) / Unix and Windows Database: Oracle Database and MS SQL Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure - quick thinking and remaining calm during stressful situations. Candidate should possess excellent customer interaction skills on technology or business issues. Candidate must be willing to work in shifts (including night shift). Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues. Appetite to learn new technologies and constantly improve technical skills.
