Oracle Exadata Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Support the DBA team in onboarding and integrating the new Oracle Exadata platform.
Contribute to the architecture and engineering of the Exadata environment.
Create and maintain detailed design and architecture documentation.
Address security, audit, and compliance requirements related to the Exadata deployment.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and database teams to ensure smooth implementation and support.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, capacity, and reliability on Exadata systems.
Implement automation and best practices for high availability and disaster recovery.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven expertise in Oracle Exadata systems (both hardware and software stack).
Hands-on experience with Exadata configuration, deployment, patching, and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of Oracle RAC, ASM, and Grid Infrastructure.
Experience with security and audit compliance within enterprise-level Exadata environments.
Ability to create architectural and design documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
