Job Description

Role

Lead and execute end-to-end data conversion and migration activities for Oracle EBS implementations or upgrades.
Analyze legacy data sources and develop data mapping, transformation, and cleansing strategies.
Design and develop conversion programs using Oracle technologies (PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, APIs, Open Interfaces).
Coordinate with functional teams to understand business data requirements and validations. • Develop conversion functional and technical design documents.
Perform unit testing and support user acceptance
testing (UAT) for converted data.
Support cutover activities and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve conversion-related issues.
Work collaboratively with project managers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders

Responsibilities

8+ years of experience in Oracle EBS technical development.
Hands-on expertise in data migration tools and techniques (SQL*Loader, UTL_FILE, PL/SQL, External Tables).
Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS open interfaces and APIs (e.g., AP, AR, GL, PO, INV, OM, HRMS).
Experience in developing conversion scripts and handling large data volumes.
Familiarity with standard Oracle EBS tables and architecture.
Ability to create technical documentation (MD050/MD070).
Good understanding of P2P, O2C, and R2R business flows.
Knowledge of Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, and XML Publisher is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proactive and self-motivated.
