Job Description

Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management (SCM) - Distribution Consultant

Key Responsibilities

  • Module Configuration & Implementation:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of

    Oracle EBS Distribution modules

    , including

    Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), Shipping, Purchasing (PO), and Advanced Pricing

    .
  • Translate complex business requirements into effective

    Oracle EBS solutions

    , ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Perform system setup, data migration, and unit testing within the Oracle EBS environment.
  • Solution Design & Optimization:

  • Develop and propose optimal solutions for enhancing distribution and supply chain processes, leveraging standard Oracle EBS functionalities.
  • Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze gaps, and validate solution designs.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the SCM landscape.
  • Support & Maintenance:

  • Provide expert-level functional and technical support for

    Oracle EBS Distribution

    post-implementation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to inventory, order processing, shipping, and purchasing.
  • Stay updated with Oracle EBS patches, new features, and releases, assessing their impact and potential benefits.
  • Integration & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless data flow between

    Oracle EBS Distribution

    and other integrated systems.
  • Assist in the development of custom reports and analytics to meet business intelligence needs for distribution operations.
  • Documentation & Training:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation for configurations, processes, and solutions.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in

    implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Distribution modules

    .
  • Deep functional knowledge of

    Oracle Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), Shipping, and Purchasing (PO)

    .
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Experience with

    data migration

    strategies and tools within Oracle EBS.
  • Excellent

    analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

    .
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented, client-facing environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle EBS certifications

    in Supply Chain Management or relevant modules.
  • Familiarity with

    Oracle Advanced Pricing, Warehouse Management (WMS), or ASCP

    .
  • Basic understanding of

    PL/SQL

    for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Prior experience in a consulting role leading full lifecycle Oracle EBS SCM implementations.
