Job Description

Required Skills and Qualifications:

10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA Security supporting enterprise-scale production environments.
Strong expertise in
Oracle Data Guard
setup, monitoring, and failover/switchover operations.
Deep knowledge of Oracle
RAC, ASM, Clusterware, and Grid
Infrastructure.
Proven experience in designing and implementing
HA & DR
architectures.
Strong hands-on expertise in backup and recovery using
RMAN, Data Pump
, and other tools.
Skilled in performance tuning, capacity planning, and SQL optimization.
Experience with database patching, cloning, refreshes, upgrades, and migrations.
Familiarity with
Oracle Enterprise Manager
(OEM) and custom monitoring solutions.
Proficient in
Oracle Wallet, TDE, SSL
configuration, and database security best practices.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes, change management, and documentation practices.
Familiarity with
Linux/Unix
environments and scripting (Bash, Shell, etc.).
Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
Database Administrator.
Experience with
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
or other cloud platforms (AWS RDS, Azure, GCP).
Exposure to
Exadata, Oracle Multitenant (PDB/CDB), and Hybrid Cloud
setups.
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices for database deployment automation.
Experience with other RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) is a plus.
