The HCM Cloud Payroll implementation lead person will participates in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support), under the direction of the Project Manager, and may lead one or more activities. Project responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, configuring to meet documented business requirements, setting and managing business expectations, providing guidance to business users, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager.
Should be well versed with US Payroll taxation and should help in payroll yearend tax reconciliations.
Should have expertise in Oracle Payroll end to end Business Process and detailed application knowledge across HCM Payroll
Should have a good experience in Payroll functional areas like configuring custom flows, configuring earnings/deductions, payroll costing models. Should be good in creating and modifying payroll fast formulas.
Good knowledge on payroll systems and should direct the business with best practices
Good understanding of HR architecture and impact on payroll
Ability to manage complex payroll requirements, architect and design solutions for business.
Should understand and help on tax integrations with third party firms
Experience in implementing Multi country payroll systems.
Customer relationship acumen
Ability to engage with multiple projects & business at the same time and manage priorities
Excellent organization, communication and collaboration skills
Good to have MS Office product skillset
Ability to lead and facilitate customer workshops and sessions
Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Should have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage small scale projects, tasks, deliverables and milestones independently
Should have good understanding of payroll and Core HR data models. Experienced in creating payroll and benefits fast formulas. Experience with third party integrations
Good understanding of OTBI, BI Publisher reporting and Extracts
Should be hands on with HDL for various data objects
Should have experience in using REST APIs for managing integrations both inbounds and outbounds
Experience with Fast formulas in Payroll
Solid understanding of HCM extracts and creating changes only files for third party vendors
Experience in managing personalizations on Core HR/payroll related self service and admin pages.
Manage current HCM Payroll and Benefits dashboards
