We are seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration, specifically in managing Oracle E-Business Suite and related applications. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Applications and databases.
Perform database backup and recovery operations.
Monitor database performance and implement tuning measures.
Manage user access and security for Oracle Applications.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
Prepare and maintain documentation related to database configurations and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

7-9 years of experience in Oracle Applications DBA role.
Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and related applications.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
Knowledge of backup and recovery tools such as RMAN.
Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
