Oracle Application Framework

As an experienced Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) Technical Consultant with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) development and customization, your role involves the following responsibilities: - Designing, developing, and implementing customizations and extensions using Oracle Application Framework (OAF) for Oracle E-Business Suite (R12). - Working on Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Interfaces, Conversions, and Workflows to support business needs. - Performing OAF page customizations, personalizations, and controller extensions. - Developing and maintaining RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components. - Collaborating with functional teams to understand business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. - Troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing OAF pages and other Oracle custom components. - Participating in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements ensuring smooth transitions. - Performing unit testing, code review, and deployment in accordance with organizational standards. - Providing technical documentation, supporting user acceptance testing, and ensuring timely issue resolution. - Working closely with DBAs, functional consultants, and business stakeholders for system optimization. Qualifications and Experience required for this role include: - 8+ years of experience in Oracle Applications technical development. - Strong hands-on experience with OAF (Oracle Application Framework) and related technologies (JDeveloper, XML, BC4J). - Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports, and Workflow Builder. - Experience with RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions). - Exposure to EBS modules such as Financials, SCM, HRMS, or Manufacturing. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. - Good understanding of AIM / OUM methodology and Oracle Apps architecture. - Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams.,
