Oracle Apex and Oracle VBCS

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Cloud PaaS Extensions Developer with a strong focus on Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Oracle APEX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom applications and extensions that seamlessly integrate with Oracle Cloud applications, enhancing business processes and user experiences. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy custom applications and extensions using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) to meet specific business requirements. Develop and maintain robust and scalable applications using Oracle APEX, leveraging its low-code capabilities for rapid development. Integrate VBCS and APEX applications with various Oracle Cloud applications (e.g., ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, SCM Cloud) and other third-party systems. Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and other technical teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver effective solutions. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VBCS and APEX applications, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. Stay updated with the latest Oracle Cloud PaaS offerings and best practices, continuously improving development processes and solution quality. Document technical designs, development processes, and support procedures. Mandatory Skills: Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS): Strong proficiency in developing responsive web applications using VBCS. Experience with VBCS components, data sources, business objects, and integrations. Understanding of VBCS architecture and deployment models. Oracle APEX: Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications using Oracle APEX. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within the APEX environment. Experience with APEX themes, templates, plugins, and security features. Nice to Have Skills: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC): Familiarity with OIC integrations, including connections, orchestrations, and adapters. Experience in connecting VBCS/APEX applications with other systems via OIC.
