Optometrist - Hubli (Karnataka)

Role Overview: As an Optometrist, your main responsibilities will include dispensing and fitting accurate prescriptions, performing refraction and diagnosis, managing inventory, providing reports to management, ensuring quality control, and acting as a consultant for other Opticians when necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Dispense accurate prescriptions and fit spectacles, contact lenses, and other optical aids. - Perform refraction and diagnosis to meet customers" needs. - Give advice to patients on lens types, frames, styling, fit contact lenses, care, use of low vision aids, adjustments, and repairs to spectacles. - Manage inventory of lenses and range of optical products and provide inputs on orders. - Provide necessary qualitative and quantitative reports to management on sales, stock, and customer feedback. - Ensure quality of eye measurements and audit fitments and dispensing techniques of Opticians. - Act as the point of escalation for Opticians for cases requiring higher consultation. Qualification Required: - Education: D. Optom / B Optom - Experience: 0-10 years Additional Details: You will need to welcome customers appropriately, talk about the products and services offered by Vision Express, inform customers about the Vx-6 step Eye test, advise customers on suitable products based on their needs, ensure timely delivery and prompt after-sales service, oversee back-end processes, and escalate any unresolved issues or disputes to the Store Manager when necessary.,
