Optometrist - Hubli (Karnataka)

As an Optometrist, your primary responsibility will be to dispense accurate prescriptions and fit spectacles, contact lenses, and other optical aids. You will perform refraction and diagnosis to meet customers" needs, providing advice on lens types, frames, styling, contact lens fitting and care, and the use of low vision aids. Additionally, you will be involved in adjustments, repairs to spectacles, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective consultation. In this role, you will manage the inventory of lenses and optical products, providing inputs for orders as needed. Regular reporting on sales, stock levels, and customer feedback will be essential to facilitate informed decision-making by the management. Quality control is a key aspect of the role, where you will ensure the accuracy and precision of eye measurements and oversee fitments and dispensing techniques of Opticians, maintaining detailed reports. To be considered for this position, you must have a D. Optom / B Optom degree with 0-10 years of experience. Key skills and competencies required include welcoming customers appropriately, effectively communicating the products and services offered, explaining the Vx-6 step Eye test for customers, providing tailored advice based on customer needs, ensuring timely delivery and prompt after-sales service, and adhering to scheduled back-end processes.
