We are looking to hire for below position on immediate basis.

Job Location : Kolkata

Department: Optometry

Designation: Executive-Optometry

JOB RESPONSIBILITY :

1) Need to reach Hospital on Time and cross check the cleanliness of Entire Workup & Minor area, need to check the proper working condition of all machines in the workup & minor area. Check that the Diffusers are working in workup & Minor area. Crosscheck if each and every staff is in uniform or not.

2) Should be a Graduate / Diploma in optometry.

3) Must have good practice of Eye checkup, Refraction & Contact lens dispensing.

4) Should have well in communication of Hindi and English & command on local language will an additional benefit.

5) Should be confident in retina scope.

6) Should be capable of examining the eyes of patients of all ages to detect signs of injury, disease, abnormality, and defects in vision.

7) Should always be ready to move in all camps whenever it is required.

8) Checking for signs and symptoms of general health conditions.

9) Must communicate with patients to get detailed case histories.

10) Final quality checking of prescribed lenses in order to correct vision defects.

11) Offering advice and reassurance about matters related to vision

12) Offering advice for patients choosing lenses & UV Sunglasses.

13) Managing coordination with optical team in aspects of acquiring knowledge of Ophthalmic lenses, contact lenses, and other vision care products.

14) Need to discuss with doctors and can liaise with other medical practitioners and sometimes share the care of patients with chronic ophthalmic conditions.

15) Must be technically sound in minor investigation of eye ball.

16) Must have Knowledge of Contact lens dispensing and low vision Techniques.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma in Optometry /B.Sc. in Optometry with Valid State Optometry license.
• Knowledge of the latest advancements in optometry and eye care.
