Designation: Optometrist Location: Coimbatore Experience: 0 5 Years Qualification: Graduate in Optometry (B.Optom / Diploma in Optometry) About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose vision conditions, and prescribe corrective measures while ensuring the highest standard of patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed eye examinations and vision tests. Diagnose common vision conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia . Detect and manage ocular diseases including glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Prescribe and dispense eyeglasses, contact lenses, and vision therapy as required. Educate patients on eye care, eyewear usage, and healthy vision practices . Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Provide support in customer service and product sales , contributing to overall business growth. Desired Candidate Profile Graduate / Diploma in Optometry. Freshers and candidates with up to 5 years of experience are welcome. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Customer-oriented with a focus on patient care.
