Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform precision optical and mechanical assembly of components and subsystems.
Support system-level test and evaluation of optical and imaging systems.
Assist in boresight alignment procedures for multi-sensor payloads.
Conduct and support field trials for performance validation under real-world conditions.
Perform NUC calibration of thermal imaging systems and document calibration results.
Maintain detailed test and assembly documentation and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Troubleshoot assembly and test issues in collaboration with the engineering team.
Support inventory and handling of optical components and test equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Optics, Physics, Electronics, or a related field.
1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in optics assembly or optical testing (preferred).
Familiarity with optical alignment tools and measurement systems.
Understanding of boresight alignment and NUC calibration concepts.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and test procedures.
Experience in supporting field trials is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a proactive attitude.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Work Environment:

Cleanroom or lab-based assembly and testing environment.
Occasional travel for field trials and on-site evaluations. Collaborative work with cross-functional teams including optics, electronics, and systems engineers.
