Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Ops Support Engineer to join our Data Operations team. In this role, you will provide critical support for our Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality initiatives, ensuring operational stability and high data accuracy across systems like Snowflake, Reltio, and Salesforce CRM. The role requires strong SQL skills, data analysis experience, and a problem-solving mindset to resolve production issues and support business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage production environments across multiple markets, ensuring stability, data quality, and minimal business disruption.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to data synchronization, Snowflake SQL queries, data pipelines, and Python scripts.
• Conduct data quality assessments, identify invalid or corrupt records, and perform remediation to maintain integrity.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and coordinate with engineering teams for long-term solutions.
• Design and apply temporary solutions or workarounds to support Business-As-Usual (BAU) processes until permanent fixes are deployed.
• Collaborate with teams handling MDM systems (Reltio), CRM platforms (Salesforce/Veeva), Snowflake, and downstream applications to ensure consistent and accurate data flows.
• Support initiatives around Reference Data Management (RDM) harmonization, Data Change Requests (DCR) workflows, data lineage tracking, and DQ scorecards in line with compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain basic Python or SQL scripts for process automation, monitoring, and reducing manual interventions (preferred).
• Work closely with implementation leads and regional SMEs to address production issues and close data quality gaps.
• Communicate incident updates, RCA summaries, and corrective actions effectively to internal and client stakeholders.
• Monitor scheduled data refreshes and respond to failures by performing in-depth RCA and applying permanent resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Any Graduate
• Experience: 58 years in production support or data operations within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Solid knowledge of incident handling, request management, and continuous service improvement methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in:
• Snowflake SQL and traditional SQL for data analysis and validation
• Basic Python for scripting and automation
• Data quality frameworks and issue triaging
• Creating temporary fixes to maintain operations during system issues
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen analytical approach to data-related challenges
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven client interaction and stakeholder engagement experience
