Ops & Controllers Tech Associate

As a Software Architect at our company, you will be responsible for designing elegant solutions that result in simple, extensible, and maintainable high-quality code based on the 12/15 factor app methodology. Your role will involve providing hands-on technical leadership in architecture, design, development, code reviews, quality assurance, observability, and product support. You will use your technical knowledge to identify risks and prevent software defects, while also mentoring and nurturing other team members to foster a culture of collaboration and disciplined software engineering practices. Key Responsibilities: - Designing elegant solutions for systems based on the 12/15 factor app methodology - Providing hands-on technical leadership in architecture, design, development, code reviews, and quality assurance - Mentoring and nurturing team members to uphold software engineering best practices - Optimizing team processes to improve productivity and responsiveness to feedback - Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and effectively communicating to achieve successful outcomes - Hiring, retaining, and growing top talent on the team - Leading in the planning, execution, and delivery of the team's commitments Qualifications Required: - Masters or bachelors degree in Computer Science or another STEM field - Experience with software development in the Alternative Asset Management or Investment Banking domain - 6+ years of software development experience in Java, C++, or C# - 3+ years of Web 2.0 UI/UX development experience in ExtJS, ReactJS, AngularJS, or Vue - Hands-on development expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST, Messaging, JPA, and SQL - Experience in building applications using RESTful and Microservices architecture - Expertise in TDD/BDD/ATDD with hands-on experience in Junit, Spring Test, TestNG, or Cucumber - Strong understanding of SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and 12/15-factor app methodology - Understanding of relational databases, SQL, ER modeling, and ORM technologies - Familiarity with BPM and its application - Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, etcetera - Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills - Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adopt solutions from within the company or the open-source community Additional Company Details: If any additional information about the company was provided in the job description, it is omitted in this summary.,
