Job Description

Position: Technical Specialist (Data Engineering & BI):

Roles and Responsibilities

Strong understanding of SQL Server, Data Warehousing, ETL (SSIS) and Business Intelligence.
10+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing database solutions, data models, SSIS packages, SSRS reports.
Lead the design and development of end-to-end data warehousing, ETL, and BI solutions using SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
Develop scalable ETL workflows, perform data cleansing/profiling, and manage data integration across multiple sources.
Design and maintain data models including Star and Snowflake schemas, fact/dimension tables, and OLAP cubes.
Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and SSRS to support business decision-making.
Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance to ensure efficient data processing.
Collaborate with business analysts, SMEs, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Lead and mentor onshore/offshore teams of ETL developers, testers, and data engineers.
Ensure adherence to SDLC and Agile/Scrum best practices through all phases of design, development, testing, and deployment.
Maintain documentation, enforce coding standards, and support production releases and enhancements.
Provide technical expertise in enterprise data management, data migration, and BI architecture.
