Job Summary:

Ophthalmologist

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision tests.
Diagnose and manage eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.
Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, or treatments.
Perform surgical procedures such as cataract removal, laser eye surgery, or corneal transplants (as applicable).
Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients on eye health, preventative care, and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology through continued education and professional development.
