Job Description

As an Apprentice at HSBC, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations and administration of capital account transactions and queries, including regulatory filings, RBI liaison, customer and business engagement. Your role will be crucial in achieving a high level of efficiency and customer service to help attain the strategic and operating objectives of the Bank. Additionally, you will coordinate with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned activities and support automation activities within the team. It is essential to maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement the group compliance policy applicable to your role, and be aware of Operational Risk scenarios associated with your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Support daily operations and administration of capital account transactions and queries - Coordinate with external vendors for timely and accurate completion of activities - Support automation activities within the team - Maintain internal control standards and implement compliance policies - Be aware of Operational Risk scenarios and mitigate risks effectively Qualifications Required: - Graduation / Post-Graduation from a UGC recognized University - Only Fresh Graduates within 0-5 years of completing their Bachelors degree can apply - Should not have done any Govt. regulated Apprenticeship in the past Skills Required: - People and Stakeholders Management - Strong Communication and decision-making ability - Thinking and Problem-solving skills - Customer-centric approach to support business growth As an Apprentice at HSBC, you will undergo a one-year tenure as defined under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Upon completion of the tenure, a Certificate of Proficiency will be issued by the Govt. of India. All other clauses regarding the tenure of engagement as an Apprentice with HSBC will be as mentioned in the offer letter.
