About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee night-shift operations, ensure accurate financial and operational reporting, manage team performance, and coordinate effectively with US-based and international clients. The ideal candidate will combine strong operational expertise, Excel skills, excellent English communication, and proven leadership capabilities.

Candidates with backgrounds in banking, financial services, finance operations, reconciliation, MIS, or international BPO/KPO operations will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations and Team Management

• Oversee daily operations, workflow, team productivity, and service-level compliance.
• Allocate responsibilities, monitor deliverables, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Manage shift handovers, pending activities, and operational escalations.
• Identify process gaps, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, company policies, and quality standards.

2. Financial Operations and Reporting

• Review financial data, transaction records, and operational reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and oversee reconciliation and resolution of data mismatches, wherever applicable.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with confidentiality requirements and internal controls.
• Ensure reports and operational deliverables meet defined deadlines and accuracy standards.

3. Excel and MIS

• Prepare, analyze, and validate complex Excel reports, MIS dashboards, and performance reports.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IF/IFERROR, and other Excel functions.
• Analyze large datasets, identify trends, and generate actionable business insights.
• Improve reporting efficiency through process optimization and automation of repetitive tasks.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting sources.

4. International Client Coordination

• Coordinate daily operations, reporting requirements, deliverables, and follow-ups with US-based and international clients.
• Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with clients and internal stakeholders across time zones.
• Address client queries, manage escalations, communicate risks, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Present operational updates and data findings clearly, accurately, and professionally.
• Build effective working relationships and ensure smooth coordination between clients and internal teams.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in operations, financial services, banking operations, MIS, reporting, reconciliation, or related fields.
• Proven experience in team or shift management and operational decision-making.
• Demonstrated experience working with US-based or international clients.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and client-handling skills.
• Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet strict deadlines.
• High standards of accountability, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
• Willingness to work the night shift from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM IST.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Accuracy and timely completion of reports and operational deliverables.
• Compliance with SLAs, quality standards, and deadlines.
• Team productivity and operational efficiency.
• Timely identification and resolution of discrepancies and escalations.
• Client satisfaction and effectiveness of international coordination.
• Improvements in reporting accuracy, process efficiency, and error reduction.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on operations leader with strong financial or process-oriented knowledge, Excel capabilities, excellent communication skills, and experience managing international client relationships. They should demonstrate sound judgment, independent decision-making, accountability, and the ability to manage night-shift operations with minimal supervision.

Preferred backgrounds: Banking operations, financial services, reconciliation, MIS and reporting, finance operations, or international BPO/KPO operations.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
